Foreclosure Processor Job Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of foreclosure files by preparing and filing legal documents, drafting and mailing correspondence, and ensuring timely process progression.
- Ensure all activities comply with internal standards, obtaining resolution documents (i.e., discharges and corrective documents) within expected timelines.
- Service as a key point of contact for clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors; responding promptly to inquiries via email, phone, and voicemail.
- Provide clear, accurate updates on case status and escalate complex matters as needed to achieve satisfactory outcomes for clients.
- Monitor client websites, address routine and complex inquiries, and maintain proactive communication to uphold exceptional service standards.
- Perform data entry, maintain case management systems, and ensure all documentation complies with regulatory requirements.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
- High school diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- 1-3 years of foreclosure processor or related default servicing experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of Michigan court procedures and filing requirements.
