Manufacturing Cell Lead

As a Team Lead I, Manual Cell Supervision, you oversee and coordinate the assembly of products within the manual cell, ensuring high-quality output and operational efficiency. You guide your team in assembling components according to detailed specifications, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You work closely with team members to meet production goals, and you promptly address any issues or malfunctions that arise during the assembly process. Your mission is to optimize manual assembly processes, improve product quality, and drive continuous improvement within the manual cell. Your impact is felt through increased productivity, reduced errors, and enhanced team performance. You support operations through hands-on involvement in production activities. Your role requires physical work in a factory setting, with skills acquired through on-the-job training and experience. You apply broad working knowledge and experience on routine tasks. You perform moderate to large-scope production, maintenance, or skilled trade tasks with moderately complex challenges. Working under established policies and procedures and/or supervision, you exercise judgement on moderate to advanced/escalated issues and regularly contribute to improvement ideas.

What will you do:

Lead and coordinate manufacturing processes through effective team collaboration and resource optimization

Manage short interval processes at line level while identifying and escalating improvement opportunities

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience leading teams in electrical assembly, modular construction, switchgear, control panels, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and assembly processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Previous experience in a data center, power distribution, or electrical enclosure manufacturing environment.
