Integrated Logistics Operations Site Lead

We are currently seeking a Integrated Logistics Operations Site Lead, acting as main operational contact with a CFS (Container freight station) Logistics site located in Houston, TX. This person will be embedded into a 3PL site, acting as the liaison between Schneider and the supplier, ensuring compliance to the contract. This position requires a firm understanding of end-to-end supply chain flows and 3rd Party cross dock operations:

• A change agent that can facilitate key projects and initiatives between Schneider Electric and our fulfillment partners to improve and evolve network capability and performance.
• A team builder of internal and partner resources that enables the fulfillment of perfect orders to our customers.
• A value chain leader that connects internal/external fulfillment processes to optimize flexibility, resilience, and overall performance of the distribution network.

This position will be located on-site at our Houston, Texas 3PL Cross Dock Center.

What will you do?

• Operational Oversight: Serve as the primary SE operational contact for the CFS Logistics site in Houston, TX, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
• Supply Chain Management: Monitor and optimize end-to-end supply chain flows, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Cross-Dock Operations: Liaise with third party Operations Manager to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods between suppliers and customers.
• Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution and logistics operations, providing regular updates to SE stakeholders.
• Issue Resolution: Partner with 3PL leadership to proactively identify and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions and maintain service levels.
• Collaboration and Influence: Work closely with local operations, procurement, inventory management, and sales teams to align operational strategies with business goals and customer requirements, including but not limited to:
  • Process Improvement: Identify continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational processes, reducing lead times, and increasing overall efficiency.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure 3PL compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards at the logistics site, promoting a culture of safety among all team members.
• Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation of logistics activities, preparing reports for management review as needed.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

7 years' experience in:

• Logistics operations, planning, and/or financial management.
• Supply Chain Operations and/or 3rd Party Supplier Management.
• SAP ERP experience (S4 preferred)
• Experience executing agreed upon objectives, milestones, & deliverables across multiple stakeholders

BA or BS in Business, Operations or Supply Chain management or applicable years of experience required.
