Join Schneider Electric’s dynamic IT Support team as a Tech Partner, where you’ll be the first point of contact for our valued users and provide hands-on technical support at designated facilities. This role is critical in ensuring smooth technology operations and delivering exceptional service to enhance the daily experience of our employees.
Key Responsibilities- Ticket Management: Create, receive, monitor, maintain, and resolve work tickets through the service desk system.
- Device Setup & Support: Image, configure, and support computers, monitors, and mobile devices.
- On-Site Presence: Maintain a consistent presence at assigned service locations to assist end users.
- Software Compliance: Install and support software, ensuring adherence to Schneider Electric standards.
- System Health Checks: Perform proactive and on-demand checks on IT systems, including printers, copiers, scanners, and video conferencing equipment.
- User Training: Provide training on office automation equipment and assist with new hire IT orientation, including security and usage policies.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software platform issues.
- Password Management: Ensure secure handling of all provided passwords.
- Network Access: Support connectivity to corporate networks, wireless systems, and VPN applications.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain IT inventory, including moving, sorting, and stocking equipment.
- Project Support: Enter approved projects into the tracker and assist with regional initiatives as local hands-on support.
- Collaboration: Coordinate tasks with Service Desk representatives and other IT support teams.
- Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by your manager.
