JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum: Graduate of Co-ARC approved Respiratory Therapy Program (AS degree) and general sleep training completion.
Preferred: BS degree in Respiratory Therapy or other major; prefer some type of official sleep training classes or degree.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
Minimum: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) Indiana license
RPGST or SDS required within established timeline.
BLS; ACLS; PALS; NRP; required within established timeline.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum:
Preferred: 2 years of RRT experience; Sleep scoring experience; Sleep certification/ classes/training preferred. 1-2 Years of sleep scoring experience with adult and pediatric; Registered Polysomnographer (RPSGT) from BRPT; May accept Sleep Disorders Specialty Certification from the NBRC; prefer RPSGT.
