What are the responsibilities and job description for the REGISTRAR Outpatient Care Center position at Schneck Medical Center?
The primary responsibility of this position is registration of patients in our Outpatient Care Center. In addition, you'll be trained in other areas of Patient Access, including emergency department registration, pre-registration of scheduled visits, and the indexing of referrals via our Centralized Order Intake system. You'll work with patients and referral sources to ensure that our patients experience a seamless entry into our health system.

This position does include participating in an on-call coverage rotation.
Scheduled days/hours: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday, 6a-4p. Pay rate begins at $14.78/hr.

EDUCATION
Minimum: High School Diploma or GED/HSE accredited by the State Board of Education
EXPERIENCE
Preferred: At least one year working in a hospital setting, with experience interacting with patients face to face. Excellent communication skills. Demonstrated customer experience skills. Working knowledge of keyboarding, data entry, and Microsoft Windows. Experience with insurance verification.
