What are the responsibilities and job description for the RESPIRATORY STUDENT position at Schneck Medical Center?

Student pay varies from $13.50- $15.50, based on where you are in your schooling
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum: A student in good standing at accredited school for Respiratory Care and enrolled in the Respiratory program or a recent graduate of an accredited Respiratory program with eligibility to sit for NBRC exam. Must obtain NBRC RRT or CRT and Indiana license within 60 days of graduation.
Preferred:
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION
CPR certification. No license initially required, but as progresses into the curriculum and eligible for an Indiana Respiratory Care Practitioner Temporary Student Permit, required to obtain within two months of eligibility.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum: No minimum requirement for Transitional Student; Completion of one semester of clinicals for Extern; and Completion of two semesters of clinicals for Intern.
Preferred: Experience in some type of health care environment or patient care experience.
