Job Responsibilities
- Field observation and documentation of construction activities including, but not limited to, earthwork, foundation and retaining wall construction.
- Review testing performed by others of construction materials including, but not limited to, soil, concrete, grout and reinforcing steel.
- Preparation of reports documenting observations and test results.
- Communication with contractors and engineers to discuss observations and test results.
- Minimum 5 years of construction technician experience
- Interest in working outdoors on construction sites
- High School degree
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Attentive to detail and well-organized
- Must be able to lift 50 - 75 pounds on an occasional basis and be physically able to negotiate construction sites, climb ladders and work outside
- Must hold a current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record to operate company or personal vehicles for work-related travel.
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record, and credit check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Salary : $30 - $45
