Our office is a high-performance engineering design shop with capabilities spanning every aspect of the project lifecycle including preparation of proposals, initial site investigations, preliminary design, final engineering design, and construction management. The emphasis for this position is broadening the intern’s practical knowledge and experience by applying professional principles to real problems under the supervision of senior engineering personnel. We aim to provide valuable mentorship to our interns with local, in-office support from staff at all levels and exposure to client interactions, field work, and networking events. The full-time position is expected to be held from May through August of 2026.

Job Responsibilities
- Assisting in performing hydrology and hydraulic design; structural design; geotechnical investigations and analyses; mechanical system analysis; and drafting using AutoCAD
- Reviewing construction plans and technical specifications
- Drafting, compiling, and proofreading reports
- Assist with development of standard calculation templates using primarily Mathcad and Excel
- Assistance with administrative work
- Some travel may be required
- Current enrollment in an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering Bachelor’s program
- Possess good oral and written communication skills and literacy in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
- Ability to work with direction as part of a team
- Willingness to perform a variety of tasks including office and field work
- A strong work ethic and the desire to perform professionally at a high level.
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior professional work or summer intern work in a related field
- Junior, senior, and graduate students
- Must possess a valid driver’s license as driving is an essential function of the job
- Ability to pass a background check which may include criminal history, motor vehicle record and credit check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
Salary : $18 - $25
