Position Summary
We are currently seeking a full-time Shred Operator to join our shredding team. This position works as part of a four-person crew and plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of our finished product. The role involves unloading, sorting, and shredding post-industrial scrap foam in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload post-industrial scrap foam from trucks
- Inspect, sort, and separate material by type
- Operate shredding equipment to meet product specifications
- Drive a forklift and once trained, operate the loading crane
- Support production and material flow
- Maintain quality and safety standards throughout the process
- Collaborate closely with teammates to meet production goals
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to drive a forklift (or willingness to learn)
- Willingness to be active throughout the workday—this role involves constant movement
- Ability to sort and stack materials accurately
- Willingness to cross-train in multiple positions

Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: $16–$18 per hour
- Shift premium: $1.00/hour for 2nd and 3rd shift
- $0.50/hour raise at 60 days
- Benefits begin at 60 days
