Job Summary
The Accounting Associate is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, monthly expense reimbursements, reconciling vendor activity and assisting with the daily accounting processes.
Major Job Functions
Physical Demands: There are only minor physical demands such as filing.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This position is a part-time day position (up to 20 hours per week) – Typical work days are Monday through Friday. Daily hours are flexible.

Job Summary
The Accounting Associate is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices, monthly expense reimbursements, reconciling vendor activity and assisting with the daily accounting processes.
Major Job Functions
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
- Process payment runs
- Respond to vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Assist with monthly closing process as needed
- Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms
- Gather documentation for audits
- Other duties as required
- Above average speed when using computer programs and entering data
- High school diploma required
- Prior experience in an office setting preferred
- An aptitude for mastering computer systems
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Interact with employees, vendors and customers in a professional manner
- Well organized and a self-starter
- Inquisitive nature that needs to know the “how” and the “why” things work.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
