Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks, a family owned & operated company since 1986, & the premier waterfront equipment manufacturer, distributor, & service company in Wisconsin is growing & currently looking to add to our team.
Schmidt Boat Lifts & Docks is currently looking to add service & install team members at our Kaukauna store. A good mechanical knowledge, good driving record, boater’s safety certification, & a desire to work outdoors are all helpful things to bring to our team. (A background in construction, or as a landscaper or handyman can also be helpful due to the outdoor nature of the position.)
This is a full-time position, year round, with a small amount of layoff in winter.
A successful candidate should be able to:
-Responsibly use hand & power tools.
-Work with our team & take direction from teammates.
-Work in & around the water, & in waders.
-Have a strong work ethic, & a desire to provide the best customer experience possible--in a fast paced environment.
-Gain knowledge of the products we work with & learn to service them.
-Lift 50 Pounds.
Most Saturdays are required in April & May, with overtime during the spring/summer season.
