Duties
- Diagnose and repair commercial food equipment including ovens, fryers, ranges, and dishwashers using schematics and technical manuals
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent future breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Assemble, install, and calibrate new equipment at customer sites with precision and care
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
- Use schematics and technical diagrams to identify faults accurately and implement effective repairs
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repairs, provide maintenance tips, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and parts inventory logs to support seamless operations
Requirements
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for troubleshooting complex systems
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively
- Prior experience in field service roles with customer-facing responsibilities
- Knowledge of general appliance assembly is highly desirable
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments while managing multiple service calls efficiently
