Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS to process transactions accurately
- Provide friendly customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, counters, kitchen stations, and food prep zones through bussing and sanitation practices
- Assist with food handling duties, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and food safety compliance
- Support team members during busy periods by managing food prep, serving customers, and performing light kitchen tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Ability to handle food safely, follow sanitation guidelines, and maintain cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, grocery store math concepts, and retail transactions
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or retail environments is advantageous but not required
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends consistently; availability during peak hours is essential
