Position
As a medical receptionist responsibilities include managing the front desk while supporting both the patients and provider.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls, scheduling appointments and answering general questions about the practice
- Greet patients with warmth and professionalism
- Check patients in and out, verify insurance, collect copays and/or payments
- Maintain patient records and prepare charts for the day
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical office experience a plus but willing to train the right person
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Strong phone etiquette and interpersonal skills
- Strong Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and stay calm under pressure
- A friendly positive attitude
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
