Wine Server

Schlee's Gourmet Bakery & Bottle Shop | Server

As a server, you’ll create an elevated customer experience, guiding guests through our wine offerings, serving small bites, and tending to tables with care.

We are looking for:

• A high school diploma
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working solo, or on a small team
• Willing to learn the three focuses of Schlee’s - bakery, coffee and wine
• Food or hospitality experience is strongly preferred
• Candidates with wine knowledge and/or prior wine service experience are strongly encouraged to apply
• Must be 21 or older due to state alcohol service laws and unsupervised wine service responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Provide a tailored wine experience for customers, answering questions about the menu and offering suggestions or pairings when appropriate (training provided)
• Serve wine by the glass or bottle (training provided)
• Prepare espresso and drip coffee (training provided)
• serve tables and elaborate on food options.
• Bus and reset tables
• Participate in daily setup, breakdown and cleaning routines
• Comply with all state and local food safety ordinances

Schedule

• Part-time
• 20-25 hours per week
• Between the hours of 4pm and 10pm weekdays and 4pm and 12pm on weekends
