Deburring-finishing Operator Position Overview:
Work in a team of 5-8 members, primarily responsible for deburring, buffing, and polishing of medical device instruments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use a microscope to inspect your work.
- Laser making parts
- Use buffing motors to smooth, polish and deburr.
- Use Ultrasonic cleaning machine medical device components.
- Maintain necessary logs.
- Provide necessary information to other team members and departments.
- Trouble shoot minor errors.
- Report on job status/progress to members of management team.
- Maintain quality, safety control standards.
Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):
- Good hand and eye coordination
- Excellent communications skills
- Ability to handle delicate parts
- Flexible schedule, dependable and possessing willingness to learn new techniques
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to concentrate on a single task for prolonged periods of time
