Distribution ManagerSchilling Supply Company is seeking a Distribution Manager to join our management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse ensuring efficient and accurate order fulfillment, inventory management, and timely delivery to our customers.Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, supervise and assist in all distribution center activities including receiving, warehousing, order fulfillment and delivery.
- Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies to optimize workflow and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with purchasing, sales, and delivery drivers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff to achieve performance goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within Schilling Supply Company or related industries.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in distribution operations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and distribution management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
