Tasks And Responsabilities
- Oversee the financial aid process from application to disbursement, ensuring a seamless experience for all applicants.
- Guarantee timely processing of financial aid packages and accurate receipt of funds.
- Monitor and manage award processing for various grant programs and additional financial aid resources, optimizing allocation and usage.
- Ensure strict compliance with Title IV regulations, institutional policies, and state regulations, maintaining the highest standards of integrity.
- Provide expert financial aid counselling to students and families, promoting financial literacy, eligibility requirements, and informed decision-making.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial aid accounts and procedures.
- Resolve student finance issues promptly and accurately
- Collaborate closely with Admissions and Student Services to create a holistic and supportive student experience.
- Maintain meticulous and accurate records of all financial aid transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Analyze financial aid data to identify emerging trends, offering strategic recommendations for process improvements.
- Prepare and submit detailed financial aid reports as required, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all reporting standards.
- Oversee audits, regulatory reviews, and other quality reviews
- Participate in a diverse, cross-functional team to contribute to the overall success of each student.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial aid and/or compliance within higher education.
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial aid management software.
- Experience with Anthology Student and/or Campus Ivy preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, work independently and cross-functionally.
- High degree of professionalism.
- Demonstrates time management, priority setting skills, and a high commitment to quality.
- Possesses flexibility to work in a diverse, dynamic environment.
- Seeks to acquire knowledge in the area of specialty.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
