Schust Development Inc., a division of Scheuch USA Inc., is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Project Manager to join our team in Auburn, Indiana.

In this role, our expectation is that the successful candidate will carry the following responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and managing large capital projects from sales conception through installation and start-up
- Assist with directing a team with development of fabrication and installation drawings for the various project disciplines
- Develop bid specifications for equipment and construction
- Develop project timeline schedules & delivery of material
- Represent the company in project meetings with the clients
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards
- Fully understand project scope of work/supply from sales team
- Understanding of overall project Profit & Loss (P&L)
- Assist Sr. Project Managers with maintaining project budget
- Assist Sr. Project Managers with up-to-date project revenue and cost numbers inside CRM
- Participate in periodic project reviews both internally and with customer
- Participate in project close out reviews that include everyone that was involved with the project
- Supervise on-site project construction personnel to ensure the project is completed per design, within budget and on schedule
- Manage others that are working on project
- Provide on-site supervision for technical assistance i.e., drawing interpretation, co-ordination of subcontractors of all work disciplines
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication and other relationship-building skills is required
- Estimating experience will be considered a plus
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skill
- Able to manage several tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Project, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk applications including AutoCAD, Vault & Inventor 3D modeling
- B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent
- 5 years (minimum) construction and/or plant engineering experience
Essential Requirements:
- Available for domestic travel to Schust branch offices and project sites essential (approximately 20%)
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to walk, stand and move through uneven, congested or noisy work areas
- Must be able to climb stairs or ladders and navigate areas that may be under construction or in production
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
