Position Summary:
Provides sales, field and administrative support to Sales Staff. Reliable and regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Salary: $20-$21 an hour commissions
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimating Read/interpret blueprints
- Determine and calculate materials needed from blueprints
- Customer service Develop a positive rapport with clients/customers
- Promptly answer/address customer questions
- Data Entry Convert estimates into active orders using computer systems
- Conduct Manual order entries, as necessary
- Field Measuring Travel to jobsites to gather information necessary to recommend products and estimate quantities and costs
- Interpret blueprints with foreman and identify material usage issues
- Special order tracking Utilize judgement, experience and knowledge to identify vendors and products offerings that best fit the customers' needs and company objectives
- Calculate customer pricing and place special orders
- Sales Representation Represent contractor sales staff when Senior Sales member is out of the office
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years custom home estimating experience
- 1-3 years in building materials and industry required
- Excellent math, customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read/ interpret blueprints
