Schendel Lawn & Landscape is looking for Lawn Care Technicians to join our growing Lawrence team.

We provide professional lawn care and landscaping services to residential and commercial customers. Our mission is to enrich the lives of our co-workers, customers, and communities by creating and maintaining flourishing outdoor spaces.

What You'll Do

As a Lawn Care Technician, you will:

• Apply granular and liquid lawn care products according to company programs and all applicable state, federal, and product-label regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while working on customer properties.
• Communicate with customers, explain services and inspection findings, answer questions, and make recommendations for lawn and landscape improvements.
• Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
• Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Perform seasonal and off-season duties, including snow removal.

What We're Looking For

You don't need years of lawn-care experience to be successful in this position. We provide training and support to help you learn the job.

We're looking for someone who has:

• A strong and dependable work ethic.
• A valid driver's license with no major driving infractions within the past 3–5 years.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• The ability and willingness to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• The ability to work independently while also being part of a team.
• A willingness to learn and take pride in doing quality work.

A Kansas Commercial Certified Applicator license or previous lawn/landscape experience is a plus, but not required. We will train the right person.
