Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP is seeking an associate with 3-7 years’ experience in defending medical malpractice claims for our Litigation Practice Group.
Responsibilities:
- Draft pleadings, conduct discovery, draft motions, briefs, etc.
- Represent clients in court and at mediation
- Develop and execute legal strategies
- Conduct thorough factual and legal research and analysis
- Manage matters from commencement to final resolution
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required. Admission to the New York Bar is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in all aspects of trial advocacy (depositions, motions, etc.)
The annualized salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
