Position SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, wiring, troubleshooting, and supporting the assembly of custom test machines, electrical panels, and custom electrical connectors. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, possesses strong problem solving skills, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities- Build and wire electrical control panels according to electrical prints
- Assemble, wire, test, and debug custom electrical connectors and wire testing machines.
- Support machine builds through fixturing assembly and integration of electrical components.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Assist with machine startup, commissioning, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with engineering to resolve technical issues and improve assembly processes.
- Provide limited travel and onsite customer support for equipment installation, troubleshooting, and service activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to company quality standards.
- Experience in electrical assembly, panel building, machine wiring, or a related manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and assembly drawings.
- Proficient with common electrical assembly tools and testing equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to support machine assembly activities.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for customer support and field service activities.
- Must be able to commute to Pontiac, MI on a daily basis.
