We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Director of Human Resources.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, payroll, and employee law compliance.

We are looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our team! The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Director of Human Resources.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/employment, onboarding, payroll, and employee law compliance.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department
- Assist with the recruiting and on-boarding process.
- Post open positions and monitor job boards.
- Interview candidates for role fit.
- Initiate and audit new hire paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with USCIS Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
- Manage sidekick program.
- Assemble and send new hire onboarding kits.
- Maintain and processes all Unemployment Notices in a timely, efficient manner.
- Assist/lead the development of HR processes, policies and systems.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Complete payroll for all six of the Schell Brothers companies/subsidiaries on a bi-weekly basis.
- Maintain and track employee files ensuring company compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
- 2 years of HR experience (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving and creative thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task with attention to detail
- Proficient with MS Office Products
- Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills.
- High level of discretion with confidential material
