Architectural Sheet Metal Shop Fabricator

Schefers Architectural Sheet Metal is a well-established commercial architectural sheet metal company with 20 years established history of long-lasting customer service and relationships. We specialize in architectural sheet metals, and flat roof related flashing and trim. We are a family-held firm with strong growth and a casual work environment.
We are currently seeking a sheet metal Shop Fabricator, who is eager to be part of our team, learn and potentially grow within the organization.

General Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Fabricated sheet metal on a computerized break and with hand tools.
• Clean, organize, and manage the sheet metal shop.
• Efficiently store hardcopy of sheet metal shop tickets and work orders so they can be accessed at later dates.
• Efficiently store computer programs so they can be accessed at later dates.
• Help track current job inventory materials and shop inventory.
• Beware of remaining materials and notify office if more will need to be ordered.
• Coordinate with shop supervisor the schedule and importance of shop tickets and fabrication.
• Delivery materials when required.
• Pick up materials from jobsites and vendors.
• Help keep yard and equipment in order.
• Obtain field measurements and test sample pieces.
• There may be additional duties and responsibilities required as an employee of Schefers Companies not listed above.

Requirements:

• Hold or have the ability to maintain a valid Missouri Class E Driver’s license, equivalent, or greater.
• Part time employees will be considered.
