Schefers Roofing Company, a family-owned and award-winning commercial roofing contractor, has an immediate opening for an Architectural Sheet Metal Installation Foreman in Grain Valley, MO. Responsibilities
- Report to the Superintendent/Project Manager.
- Ensuring safety in all that we do.
- Co-developing, monitoring and executing the project plan and schedule with the Superintendent/Project Manager.
- Coordination of resources including; equipment, labor, supplies and subcontractors.
- Monitoring cost control, quality, productivity, and safety on projects.
- Managing crews performing sheet metal installation on various job sites.
- Training, disciplining, and providing positive reinforcement to crews, operators, drivers, and laborers as necessary.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3 or more years (preferred) leading sheet metal crews.
- 5 or more years (preferred) of hands on field experience in architectural sheet metal.
- Skilled in running all aspects of an architectural sheet metal operation, including equipment and processes.
- A demonstrated ability to lead people, schedule work, and manage projects.
- Must have a valid driver license. CDL is preferred.
- Relatively clean motor vehicle report. (Applicants w/ a drug or alcohol driving offense in the last three years will not be considered. Other violations will be evaluated using our insurance company standards.)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
- Ability to work overtime including weekends. Ability to travel is required.
