Overview
The Vendor Relations Manager will be responsible for providing strong, aggressive leadership to assist in generating best in class vendor partnerships and maximizing marketing funds in support of SCHEELS initiatives. The primary focus will be on cultivating, maintaining and assisting in the growth of vendor relationships with some of the best footwear and sports brands in retail: On, HOKA, Jordan, Under Armour, Brooks, Birkenstock, Rawlings, Easton, etc.
Responsibilities
Customer Service
Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation
Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Roles are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Overview
The Vendor Relations Manager will be responsible for providing strong, aggressive leadership to assist in generating best in class vendor partnerships and maximizing marketing funds in support of SCHEELS initiatives. Responsibilities
- Create, configure, and maintain workflows, user permissions, and core data structures within the Gatekeeper platform
- Manage the setup and ongoing mapping of vendor relationships between individual brands and parent companies
- Perform routine performance testing and quality assurance reviews to identify system bottlenecks and ensure the platform runs smoothly for all users
- Serve as a trusted, internal resource for cross-functional team members when system questions or issues arise
- Proactively engage with internal partners to understand how Gatekeeper impacts their daily workflows and identify opportunities to better support users
- Create, update, and distribute internal how-to guides, FAQs, and system release communications as the platform evolves
- Build and deliver clear reports to leadership highlighting key utilization metrics, data health, and operational bottlenecks
- Execute operational project plans on time, adapting to changing business needs with a strong focus on organizational detail and continuous improvement
- Complete comprehensive cross-training with the Vendor Compliance team to provide support to other positions during peak volumes or as needs arise

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- Experience with contract management preferred
