As the Service Manager at Seattle MINI, you will oversee the daily operations of the service department, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, efficient workflows, and departmental profitability. You will lead a team of technicians, advisors, and support staff while maintaining compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the overall operations of the service department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow optimization.

Lead, train, and mentor service advisors, technicians, and support staff to achieve performance goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as labor hours, revenue, customer satisfaction scores, and technician efficiency, providing regular feedback and implementing strategies for improvement.

Handle escalated customer concerns and complaints professionally, ensuring timely resolution and satisfaction.

Collaborate with other departments, including parts and sales, to ensure seamless operations and interdepartmental support.

Maintain accurate records for repairs, warranties, and customer interactions in the dealership management system.

Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines, warranty policies, and safety regulations.

Monitor and manage the department’s financial performance, including labor sales, gross profit margins, and expenses.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive management or a related field preferred.

5 years of experience in an automotive service environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.

Strong knowledge of vehicle repair processes, manufacturer guidelines, and warranty procedures.
