Your Key Responsibilities
- Prepare cost (break down) analyzes and cost/value optimization, for products and tools in stages of supply chain processes in cooperation with sales and purchasing organization units.
- Create costing within the request for quote (RFQ) processes and provide systematic cost optimization analyses for products.
- Drive supply chain specific value and cost optimization programs, internally and with suppliers.
- Provide expertise in negotiations for Supplier Management or Category Management respectively.
- Prepare trainings and give active support, e.g. cost structure analyses and in design-to-cost workshops.
Your Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration
- 1 year of previous relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and resolve conflict, business dealings and the ability to work in a team.
- Knowledge of world class manufacturing, engineering, and/or project management.
- External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
- Graduate Degree in Engineering or Supply Chain Management
