Job Summary:

Perform polishing operations to support the fabrication of enclosure assemblies, sub-panels, and accessories.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate polishing equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Polish and finish stainless steel components to remove defects, sharp edges, scratches, and excess material.
• Apply consistent grain and finish to meet cosmetic and customer requirements.
• Inspect parts for surface quality, uniform finish, and overall appearance prior to the next stage of production.
• Interpret basic work instructions, specifications, and finish requirements.
• Identify and report defective materials or questionable quality conditions.
• Maintain quality standards while meeting production goals.
• Maintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with handling and movement of parts as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow established SOP's and Work Instructions
• Ability to set up machine as required
• Must be able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to follow directions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read a tape measurer.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to be self-motivated
• Ability to complete required paperwork accurately.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous polishing experience is preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
