Core Duties (all positions)
- Follow site safety plans, wear PPE, attend toolbox talks
- Communicate with crew via radio/hand signals and follow supervisor direction
- Maintain clean, professional job sites and care for company equipment
Position-Specific Responsibilities & Requirements
- Groundsman / Laborer
- Duties: Debris cleanup, chipper and grinder operation support, assist climbers/crane with taglines and rigging, load/unload trucks, traffic control
- Requirements: Reliable, able to lift 50 lbs, willingness to learn, valid driver’s license preferred. Chainsaw experience a plus (training provided).
- Tree Climber / Arborist Crew Member
- Duties: Aerial pruning and removals, rope work and rigging, directional cuts and limb lowering, gear inspection, rescue readiness
- Requirements: Prior professional climbing experience (preferred 2 years), chainsaw/operator experience, knowledge of rope systems and rigging, physically fit, First Aid/CPR or ISA certifications a plus.
- Crane & Equipment Operator
- Duties: Operate truck-mounted/mobile cranes and other heavy equipment for lifts and placement, pre/post inspections, rigging coordination with climbers and ground crew, basic equipment maintenance
- Requirements: 2 years operating mobile cranes or heavy equipment (tree industry preferred), rigging/load-chart knowledge, valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), NCCCO or equivalent certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
