About the Role:
As a Certified Medication Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and noting time and amount on resident's chart.
- Verifying identity of resident receiving medication and recording name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records.
- Presenting medication to residents and observing ingestion or other application, or administering medication, using specified procedures.
- Performing any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.
- Certified as required by state law.
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
