What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Patient Care Team Greeter position at Scenic City Orthodontics?
Bilingual GreeterJob Summary
Are you a people person who can make someone feel welcome with a smile, a kind word, and a little patience? We’re looking for a friendly, bilingual Greeter to be one of the first smiling faces our patients see when they walk through the door!
As our Greeter, you’ll play an important role in creating a positive, welcoming experience for every patient and visitor. You’ll help keep things running smoothly at the front desk while assisting with check-ins, answering phones, reviewing paperwork, coordinating appointments, and helping patients navigate their care.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, keeping things organized, and being part of a team that genuinely cares about its patients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Be the face of the clinic: Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly attitude and make them feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.
- Help patients check in: Assist with check-in and make sure all necessary paperwork and documentation are completed accurately.
- Be the go-to guide: Answer questions about clinic services and help direct patients to the right place or person.
- Keep the phones moving: Answer calls professionally and courteously while making sure patients feel heard and helped.
- Catch the details: Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness because the little things matter!
- Keep appointments on track: Support the dental clinic by helping coordinate appointments and care plans.
- Work your tech magic: Use Meditech, Tops, or similar electronic health record systems to manage patient information and assist with coding as needed.
- Be a team player: Work closely with medical and dental staff to keep the patient experience running smoothly.
- Make a difference: Treat every patient with kindness, patience, and respect—because sometimes a friendly face is exactly what someone needs.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in medical administrative support is preferred.
- Bilingual communication skills are a must.
- Familiarity with Tops, or similar electronic health record systems is a plus.
- Understanding of medical documentation and coding practices is helpful.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, especially when reviewing patient information and documentation.
- Experience in a dental clinic, medical office, or hospital setting is a bonus.
- Someone who is organized, dependable, compassionate, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
The Ideal Person
We’re looking for someone who can juggle a ringing phone, a patient walking through the door, paperwork that needs reviewing, and a coworker asking a question—all while keeping a smile on their face.
If you’re someone who loves helping people, thrives in a busy environment, communicates well, and wants to be part of a team where your personality and people skills matter just as much as your administrative skills, we’d love to meet you!
