CNC Machine Helper

Objectives:

To help set up and run the ongoing factory operations under the direction of the CNC Lead.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for adhering to all Company and Project safety programs, policies, and procedures as well as all Federal, State, and local safety codes and regulations.

• Clean shop area to ensure safe and workable area.
• Preparing and assist with operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Experience and ability to provide table assistance by means of tasks aligned with Table Loader (load and unload table, track and label parts, help maintain/clean equipment)
• Must be able to understand shop drawings.
• Must be able to operate hand tools.
• Must be able to understand and use all measuring devises (tape measure, calipers, angle measure) fractions and decimals.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to follow direction, take constructive criticism and learn from mistakes.
• Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and performing basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment.
• Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others and responding positively to constructive feedback.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills and Attributes:

• Experience working in a manufacturing/factory environment.
• Preferred mechanical experience on computer-controlled machinery.
• Experience operating computer control machinery

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
