Overview
We are seeking an energetic and technically proficient CNC Field Sales Engineer to drive our growth in the manufacturing sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine technical expertise with dynamic sales strategies, engaging with clients to deliver tailored automation and CNC solutions that elevate their production capabilities. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging their technical knowledge and sales acumen to build lasting client relationships and close impactful deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect and develop new accounts within assigned territory
- Develop new sales leads, quote customers, and provide technical support
- Develop strong relationships and collaborate with distributors and purchasing contacts, as well as engineering and other departments
- Establish sales forecasts and secure sales orders according to goals
- Participate in industry tradeshows
- Educate customers on products, proper application of products, and assist them with product selection
- Assist customers with service requests
- Work with minimal supervision
Skills and Requirements:
- Demonstrated ability to build strong business relationships
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel to visit customers
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, negotiate, and complete sales orders
- Excellent customer relations skills to prepare and deliver formal presentations
- Technical knowledge to work with Microsoft Office and CRM software
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related fields, or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in outside sales
- Technical experience with machine tools and related equipment preferred
