What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at Scatterbrain Cafe?
Bakery shifts typically start between 5:00-6:00 AM, and end between 9:00AM-1:00 PM. Scheduling is flexible and includes weekends. 1-2 weekday shifts per week and every third weekend.

Job responsibilities include:
- Working independently to create beautiful and tasty bakery goods
- Communicating effectively to and between teams to ensure reliable service
- Preparing the bakery to set your team up for success
- Maintaining clean and organized work environment
- Following food safety guidelines to uphold high quality standards

REQUIREMENTS
Bakery experience is preferred, but not required.
We are happy to train inexperienced candidates that love to bake and are excited to learn new skills.

Formerly, the charming historic building housed the general store Knapp Stout and Company. The new resident, Scatterbrain Cafe, takes the same mission of providing to the community in a fresh new way.
Scatterbrain Cafe proudly does it all from scratch, start to finish! We serve dine-in brunch, baked goods, and coffee roasted in-house. Some afternoons you can smell the coffee roasting as you pass by. We love to bring wholesome, creative food and drinks to the community while also serving up your favorite classics and comfort food.
