What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enthusiastic Youth Gymnastics Instructors position at Scarlet Knights Gymnastics Academy?
Scarlet Knights Gymnastics Academy is actively seeking fun-loving, hardworking, and Part-Time Gymnastics Instructors who are passionate about helping children learn the fundamentals of gymnastics.
Our program takes place inside the Rutgers Gymnastics facility, located in the RWJBarnabas Health Athletic Performance Center on Rutgers Livingston Campus of Piscataway.
We are looking to hire passionate, enthusiastic instructors to start as soon as possible, that are flexible and capable of working weekday evenings and/or morning to early afternoon on Saturdays.
Job Requirements:
-Gymnastics and/or coaching experience is preferred.
-Looking for Availability for any, part, or all the following hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30/4:00p-9:00p and 8:00a-2:00p on Saturdays. We are also flexible with schedules, allowing for work in partial shifts (can start later in the day if necessary). Tuesdays and Saturdays are the busiest days, and most needed.
-Physical strength: You must be able to lift children of all ages (most are 3-13 years old), lift gymnastics matting & equipment. Spotting experience preferred, but will train if needed.
-Hard-working, fun, and committed individual who is willing to be team player in a positive work environment.
-Other duties include: setup and/or clean-up, taking roster attendance, and submitting student evaluations every session. Additional hours may be possible in the future in helping with office duties or front desk.
-Candidate will be required to go through a background check, and, when hired, take online courses for safety and risk management and coaching, as well as participate in-gym training/shadowing hours.
