Maintain Financial Records

Handle payroll in a timely manner

Prepare statements, invoices, and vouchers

Perform partial checks of the posting process

Submit reports of business financial operations

Process food program entries internally/externally

Record all business transactions and retain accounting records

Prepare the weekly deposits and record them in the financial ledger

Process vouchers, voucher invoices, and entry of voucher payments

Accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company

Collect and record receipts for company purchases made by coworkers

Enter data, maintain records, and process reports and financial statements

Requires extensive communication with the collection agency and company co-workers

Will run accounting software programs (QuickBooks/Sandbox, etc.) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts

Maintain and update the company's financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments
-
Balance and update a portion of the bank accounts to ensure that all payments and deposits have been accurately reported

Figure out which payments need to be remitted, if any, then submit and record them in the financial ledger

Receive payments from customers, and accurately record them in excels and in Sandbox
-
Reimburse employees for expenditures, create travel vouchers, disperse petty cash, and record receipts for all transactions

Works closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports and ensure legal requirements compliance, process accounts payable and receivable and manage invoices and tax payments

Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger, and general ledger

The accounting clerk will also handle office clerical tasks, projects, and accounting duties as assigned by the Executive Director
