Scape Maui is an elevated wellness space rooted in local soul. We offer botanical treatments, contrast therapy, thoughtful retail, and a calm café experience designed to nourish both body and nervous system.
We're looking for a Barista Spa Support team member who enjoys hospitality, moves with intention, and feels comfortable supporting both café and spa operations.
Role Overview
This role blends barista duties with hands-on spa support. You'll be making drinks, maintaining beautiful shared spaces, and assisting massage therapists to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Responsibilities
Barista & Café Support
- Prepare matcha, coffee, tea, and wellness drinks
- Maintain a clean, organized café and drink station
- Assist guests with menu questions and retail items
- Restock café supplies and support inventory checks
Spa & Wellness Support
- Help reset and clean the sauna and cold plunge rooms between guests
- Support massage therapists with room turnover and light assistance as needed
- Remove and reset foot bath bowls during treatments when possible
- Ensure towels, water, tea, and spa amenities are replenished
General Support
- Maintain cleanliness and calm throughout shared spaces
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
- Support the team wherever needed to keep the flow smooth and grounded
Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a barista or in hospitality (wellness or spa experience is a plus, not required)
- Calm, reliable, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable with light cleaning and physical movement throughout the shift
- Warm, professional, and guest-focused
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
Schedule & Pay
- Part-time with potential for growth
- Hourly pay, discussed during interview
- Weekend availability preferred
