Supplier Software Service Quoting Specialist 1

Summary:
The Supplier Software Service Quoting Specialist It will work on major supplier line(s) where software and service quote and order requirements are heavy. The Supplier Software and Service Specialist will support the Sales Teams by creating quotes and helping with order questions.

Essential Job Duties:

• Work closely with Sales and Supplier(s) to prepare quotes for business partners
• Manage a queue of incoming Software and Service quotes and order questions
• Work closely with Supplier to manage quotes to business partners and end customers
• Act as a focal point for software and service quoting for the assigned supplier line(s) within ScanSource
• Work closely with ScanSource Technical Teams to ensure that quotes are appropriately created
• Work with Sales teams to ensure all Supplier required information is collected, in order to process orders seamlessly and accurately
• Ability to work in a team environment in which all is working towards a common goal.
• Responsible for excellent customer service and responsiveness
• Must be able to multitask in a high paced environment
• Other duties as assigned

Reporting Relationships:

• Manager, Supplier Services

Requirements:

• High School/GED
• Proficiency in computer usage, the Internet, the Microsoft Office suite of applications
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work within a cooperative team environment, as well as, perform assignments independently
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Prior sales or account management experience
• Salesforce.com experience
• Annuity or Recurring Revenue quoting

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit at a computer terminal for long periods of time.
• Ability to be physically in attendance at workstation at designated company office location during normal business hours designated for this position.
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.

Compensation:

Base Range : $47,000 and total compensation: $51,000 - $60,000

Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.

For non-sales roles and sales roles with a variable component, total compensation reflects both a base salary and variable targets.
