About the Role
We are looking for reliable, detail-oriented contractors to support an ongoing retail product scanning project across several Massachusetts store locations. This role is ideal for individuals who are comfortable traveling between store sites, following clear guidelines, and using a mobile app to capture shelf and product data.
As a Retail Product Scanner, you will play an important part in helping us improve the accuracy and quality of our retail insights. All work is performed on-site in stores using our proprietary mobile application.
What You Will Do
- Review project guidelines and install/test our mobile app before fieldwork (:1 hour, paid).
- Travel to and work inside approximately 25 designated retail stores across the following areas: Fall River, Taunton, Somerset, Raynham, New Bedford, Wareham, Fairhaven, Kingston, Bridgewater, Carver, East Bridgewater, Middleborough, South Dartmouth, Lakeville, Swansea, and Westport.
- Take pictures of the specified in-store objects using the app, following clear instructions for accuracy and completeness.
- Communicate any issues, questions, or store-level challenges to the project coordinator.
- Maintain a professional and courteous presence while on-site.
Who You Are
- Must own an iPhone 11 or newer for app compatibility.
- Ability to travel reliably between multiple store locations within the assigned regions. Must have a car and a driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions.
- Comfortable working independently in retail environments.
- Professionalism and clear communication skills.
- Work takes place Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, up to 8–9 hours per day, including travel time between stores.
- Compensation per hour.
