We’re seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations and support senior leadership with timely, accurate financial insights. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role oversees a team of 2–5 staff across accounting, AP, payroll, and administrative functions, while partnering closely with retail management to ensure strong financial practices across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations with full GAAP compliance and strong internal controls.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including audit preparation.
• Handle sales tax, operating tax, A/R collections, and A/P processing within Sage Intacct.
• Support budgeting, planning, and variance analysis for senior leadership.
• Prepare financial materials for board meetings and complete all loan covenant reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to ensure a collaborative, high-performance team.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with audits, financial reporting, budgeting, A/P, A/R, payroll, and month-end close.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, and accounting/reporting systems (Sage Intacct a plus).
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present financial information confidently to senior management.
