A well-established downtown law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented attorney with 0–5 years of experience to join our growing litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse caseload focused primarily on family law and general civil litigation while gaining meaningful courtroom and client interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage family law and civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other litigation-related proceedings.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Develop case strategies and assist in trial preparation.
• Maintain case files and ensure deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with the State Bar.
• 0–5 years of experience in family law, civil litigation, or a related practice area.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Courtroom experience is preferred but not required.
