What will your role be?
We are seeking hybrid Senior IT Network Infrastructure & Private 5G Deployment Specialist to serve as a technical lead, supporting the planning, implementation, and integration of network solutions while serving as a key technical interface for internal stakeholders, customers, vendors, and deployment partners.
Key responsibilities include translating business demands into technical prerequisites, managing project and operational budgets, supporting Tier 2/3 troubleshooting, and ensuring quality execution across on-site technical teams and vendors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or equivalent practical field experience.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience leading structured cabling, optical fiber, and low-voltage deployments in mission-critical, data center, or industrial manufacturing environments. Proficiency with fiber optic testing equipment (OTDR, optical power meters, VFL) and link loss budgeting for high-bandwidth networks.
- Applied experience with Private 5G/LTE, Small Cells, indoor DAS, eCPRI/CPRI fronthaul cabling, and edge compute (MEC) interconnects. Working knowledge of 5G physical layer hardware: PoE , SFP/SFP optical transceivers, Remote Radio Heads (RRH/RU), and RF jumper cabling.
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, Ethernet standards, IP routing/switching, VLANs, and enterprise wireless standards.
- Soft Skills & Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex technical details to both non-technical business leaders and technical engineering teams.
- Up to 25% Travel time across North America and the ability to work flexible hours during active site deployments is required.
