What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Planner position at Scalian?

We’ll look to you for:
- Ensuring material demand is accurately reflected in the ERP based on various planning needs,
- Calculating Material Net Requirements and forecasts in ERP (or alternative) based on the Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process,
- Collaborating closely with suppliers on diverse projects to enhance supply chain efficiency,
- Strategically deploying planning and inventory strategies considering parts typology and demand inputs,
- Creating and maintaining accurate material master data within the ERP system,
- Leveraging your problem-solving skills to offer out-of-the-box solutions and resolutions,
- Utilizing your excellent communication skills to interact effectively with domestic and international suppliers.
Qualifications:
- Degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field,
- Experience or understanding of supply chain planning and logistics,
- Knowledge of ERP systems and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) is a plus,
- Familiarity with production planning and inventory management strategies,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Ability to offer innovative solutions and ideas,
- Certification in Supply Chain or Inventory Management is a plus, but not required.
