What will your role be?
Scalian is seeking a general inspector:
The primary objective of this role is to perform visual and non-destructive inspections on FRP components and other train parts, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Inspections will be coordinated according to train availability to minimize service disruptions. The inspector will provide detailed reports, including photographic evidence, and maintain accurate records in alignment with customer quality process.
Main Activites to be Performed
- Perform visual and NDT inspections on FRP and other components as per defined standards.
- Record inspection results in control plans and ERP systems, assessing compliance and acceptability.
- Collaborate with customer representatives to conclude inspection status and meet daily targets.
- Provide immediate feedback on critical defects and alert stakeholders to new defect typologies.
- Ensure inspection activities are aligned with train availability schedules and operational priorities.
- The inspector is responsible for performing inspections in accordance with work instructions and criteria provided, ensuring accurate and timely completion of all assigned activities.
Accountabilities
- Perform inspections according to the Quality Control Plan and ensure product compliance.
- Conduct visual and NDT inspections on FRP components and other relevant parts.
- Document findings in detailed inspection reports and ERP systems, including required images and defect characterization.
- Provide real-time feedback on critical defects to customer representatives.
- Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to prioritize inspections and meet operational targets.
- Ensure control plans are updated when new defect typologies are detected.
- Maintain agile communication with team members to coordinate inspection activities.
- Guarantee compliance with safety protocols and quality standards throughout all inspection tasks.
