Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Duties
- Take orders accurately using POS systems such as pecan POS or Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient service
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive customer service that encourages repeat visits
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols
- Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet or catering events as needed
- Monitor the dining area for cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
- Use effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts in various settings such as restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls
Experience
- Previous restaurant experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like pecan POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest interactions
- Basic math skills for retail math, hospitality calculations, and cash handling tasks
- Knowledge of the food industry’s standards for serving alcohol responsibly in licensed venues such as nightclubs or bars
