Technical Expertise:
Java & J2EE: Core requirement, including frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and MVC.
Web Technologies: Proficiency in building web-based applications, particularly Single Page Applications (SPAs) using AngularJS.
Databases: Experience with Oracle 11g, SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Tools: Familiarity with development tools like Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and Autosys.
Unix: Shell scripting and working knowledge of Unix-based systems is required.
Testing: Experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and tools like JUnit.
Business & Data Analysis:
Strong skills in data sourcing, analysis, and modeling for large-scale financial crime data.
Understanding of business requirements, and ability to define technical solutions that align with business goals.
Collaborating with business partners to refine requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Agile and SDLC:
Experience in Agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, and working in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Ability to estimate work and mitigate risks, including creating proof of concepts.
Cross-team Collaboration:
Working with Production Support, Platform Teams, and Business Partners to handle change management, platform upgrades, and system maintenance.
Ability to work effectively in both onsite and offshore environments.
Solution Design and Innovation:
In-depth knowledge to recommend innovative technical solutions that improve competitive advantage.
The ability to manage large-scale applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
