Position Overview
The Medical Oncologist will provide comprehensive care to patients with genitourinary malignancies while contributing to the academic and research missions of the oncology program. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise in Medical Oncology along with an interest in clinical and/or translational research.
This physician will have opportunities to collaborate with both internal and external investigators on a broad range of research initiatives while helping advance innovative treatment approaches and improving outcomes for oncology patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care for patients with genitourinary cancers
- Participate in and support clinical and translational research initiatives
- Contribute to the development and execution of clinical trials
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and research investigators
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of students, residents, and fellows
- Participate in academic, scholarly, and program development activities
- Support a patient-centered, evidence-based approach to oncology care
Qualifications Required
- MD, MD/PhD, or DO required
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Medical Oncology
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the state of Massachusetts
- Strong clinical expertise in oncology care
- Interest in clinical research and academic medicine
Preferred
- Experience participating in oncology clinical trials
- Interest in translational research and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Academic or teaching experience
- Passion for advancing innovation in genitourinary oncology
Pay: $255,670.00 - $534,220.00 per year
